Campers who have previously completed both of Roseann Hanson's Nature Journaling Guide Books are welcome to join in our "Seeds in the Wind" Program during our camp sessions.
Our Camp Gathering Session Schedule with all summer campers:
June 28, July 26, and August 23, 2026. Meet in person at the current Net Loft location at 701 2nd Street or via Zoom link 1-3:30pm AKST.
Seeds in the wind campers will be considered counselors as they focus on a specific place or part of their surrounding natural history. Campers will have the option to create a compilation of their independent study, such as an accordion panorama of this subject as it changes over the summer, as a phenology wheel, or other presentation that allows the nature journalist to communicate their subject over time. You may also choose a book instead as the basis for your summer study.
As a seed in the wind spreads more life in multiple directions, there is an option for third year campers to practice leadership and teaching skills by becoming one of our featured artists with an interview and short demonstration, as a way to help others grow from your experiences. We will contact you and set up a date if you choose the Guest Artist option in the menu drop down.
