Rare Tulip Quilt Judy Severson Limited Edition Print

��Rare Tulip is an applique pattern inspired by a quilt made in 1865. The quilter was a southern woman waiting for her sweetheart to come home from the war. This colorful quilt has been handed down through the family now belongs to the quilters's granddaughter.��

The blocks are rearranged from the original quilt, the colors are changed so that they would fit easily in a bedroom today, and a stuffed border was added to this version. If you look closely at the stuffed feathers, you will find a small tulip at the end of each swirl.��
