The Olde Salt Collection is a set of hand dyed yarns from Snow Capped Yarns, our exclusive yarns hand dyed by Shelly Kocan in Cordova, Alaska. This set of yarns features a palette of tonal marine inspired color ways on a variety of bases, which work well for textures, cables, lace and color work.
The Latouche Base, named for an island in Prince William Sound, Alaska, contains 100% BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) wool, which has a soft hand and yet wears well, making it a perfect match for sweaters as well as small projects.
