Net Loft Cordova Colorway was inspired by a watercolor from local artist Karl Becker. The scene is an actual net loft in the old Alaska Packers cannery. Recently, since this was painted, some of this historical building has collapsed. What once was an old clam cannery, then a salmon cannery, eventually became a storage place for large tote bags of gillnets. These old buildings hold many memories for local fishermen and their families.
