Gansey Design and Construction Monthly Study Group

Join us in a monthly evening study group for gansey construction live and online at The Net Loft. 

Group is on hiatus for the summer and will resume meeting in the fall.

Next meeting: Fall 2025 TBA Meanwhile our Thursday weekly group will continue to meet at noon Alaska time.

This is not a structured class, but rather an informal monthly gathering upstairs at the Net Loft for those desiring to construct a gansey from a pattern or from one's own design, as well as for those who have a gansey in progress and would like to receive assistance and get back on track. We will also include others interested in joining us via zoom with computer set up in room for online participants  to be included in discussion.

Each meeting will introduce the process and outline the steps to follow, as well as discuss individual in-progress ganseys as needed.

We have a weekly meeting on Thursdays at noon on zoom that will continue for general discussion and weekly check ins with our ongoing Cordova Gansey Project group.

If one has not already signed up for the information packet on the Cordova Gansey Project, those interested in participating should do so before this first meeting.

Participants need to know how to knit and purl.
