Brooklyn Tweed Ginsberg
Brooklyn Tweed Ginsberg
Low stock: 3 left
Textured Cardigan.
Ginsberg’s dramatic volume creates a striking silhouette and a cocoon of snuggly warmth. The knitting begins with a barn roof-shaped back piece, with the fronts worked on stitches picked up from the upper gambrel slopes. These projecting wings fold over the shoulders and are seamed to the back piece at the sides. Hem ribbing is worked along the fronts and back in one piece. Cables and blocks of textured stitches create a large-scale plaid effect on the fabric. Cuffs are knit in the round on stitches picked up after seaming to form a gentle puff above the elbow. We knit Ginsberg in woodsy Serpentine; choose Obsidian for mystery or creamy Gypsum for wear-with-anything magic appeal.
