Cordova, Alaska, a fishing community on the central coast nestled between the Copper River Delta, the Chugach Mountains, and the eastern shores of Prince William Sound, is a hidden treasure of a town and the hub of one thing in particular...Salmon. The  Copper River Salmon are  some of the most prized salmon in the world. The sustainable fisheries in this region are the economic mainstay for our coastal community. There is a great sense of care and responsibility in harvesting these outstanding wild food products that provide both a  healthy source of protein and nutrition,  as well as a valued lifestyle  and career for those who participate in the many facets of the industry.

This collection embodies the fisheries environment.  The colors reflect the sights and species of the Cordova region, extending from the Copper River Delta to the waters of Prince William Sound.  Some of the yarns are inspired by the artwork of local artists whose paintings have captured the essence of different aspects of our local fisheries.  These fisheries  inspired yarns are rich with the familiar natural tones that surround us here in Cordova, Alaska's Hidden Treasure, and are the core colors of the Net Loft Cordova Colorways.
