Tulip Wreath Quilt Judy Severson Limited Edition Print
$115.00 USD
Wreaths have been popular with quilters since our colonial beginnings. Wreath patterns can be found using a variety of flowers and leaves in endless arrangements, such as Pansy Wreath, Wreath of Roses, Morning Glory Wreath, and Foliage Wreath.
This Tulip Wreath pattern first appeared in the Chicago Tribune during the 1930s in a syndicated column by Nancy Cabot. It was later re-published by the Spinning Wheel Company in the Progressive Farmer, Birmingham, Ala. Their patterns are still available today.
The blocks are surrounded in the Tulip Wreath quilt print with matching calico, and then it was bordered with a quilted garland of tulips, reflecting the design.
